The Center for Sight & Hearing is proud of its affiliation with Lions Clubs International and the District 1-D Lions Clubs of Northwest Illinois.

Each year, Lions from around our region help the Center provide services for individuals with sight and/or hearing loss.  The Lions support the Center's mission through fundraising and volunteer activities.  In fact, our building is dubbed "The House That Roses Built" thanks to the kindness of District 1-D Lions Clubs for over 50 years.  The Center also recently completed an upgrade to our hearing clinic with the generous help of grants from Lions Clubs International Foundation and the Governor's Project of Past District Governor Jim Kloepping.

Many Center employees are active members of regional Lions Clubs, and the Center provides an annual "Rose" Award to a District 1-D Lion who shows outstanding dedication to the Lions mission.
