The Center for Sight & Hearing recently hosted the 3rd Annual Oktoberfest fundraising event at Prairie Street Brewhouse on September 29th. The room was abuzz as over 100 people socialized, enjoyed the food & drink, and participated in various activities including a 40-item silent auction. Tom Lasley, the Business Development Director, commented, "it was great to see everyone enjoying themselves and I hope they all come back next year."

We all know that moment when a child's face lights up with amazement. Thanks to the Kiwanis Charity and their wonderful donation, I get to see this on a daily basis. Nearly half of the hearing tests we perform are on children, so there is ample opportunity to showcase the new video animation system. In addition to children, parents and caregivers have all been amazed.
